Love the 20ft. length, ,3/8 width BioThane for tracking. It is lightweight, manageable and easy to clean. I have 2 other Biothane lines in varying lengths and use them frequently for a variety of activities in my dog training classes
The buckle was much heavier than expected for an xs. I contacted you when received and received no reply. Not very good customer service. Will not be able to recommend.
Hello Nancy--I have checked our inbox, as well as our deleted messages and spam messages, and did not find your email. I'm not sure what happened. It is unfortunate our x-small clasp is not right for you. It weighs 0.7 oz, and is usually tolerated by most toy and small dogs. If you would like to return your leash for a refund, we will refund the method of payment used at the time of purchase. Alternatively, if you own a clasp that you prefer, but are not using, you can send it to us along with the leash and we will attach it for you.
I started using the 10 foot lines for scent work training and have replaced my standard walking leashes with these as well. They are easy to clean, don't tangle, and gentle on your hands.

While my dog is great on recall, I often need to stop him from eating what comes in his path, and so I hope this helps. I haven't tried it in the woods yet, but have been learning to use it on grass :)

Here's my deal. I am a retired movie animal trainer of 45 years who has recently started training pet owners. To me, equipment is very important. I have been using biothane for many years, often making my gear because it can be hard to find exactly what I need. I just found PalOMine and was able to get the leashes I wanted in the color, length, and width I need. I'm not picky; I'm specific. I have reasons for the length, width, snap size, handles, and color of the leashes I use. PalOMIne has it all.

Really like the extra length over my 6 ft leash. Bought it to use for Scentwork, but I use it for walks so he can wander a little more.
This is my 6 or 7 line I have bought from this small business. Charla always take good care of me (us). My oldest line, used in nosework, is 11 years old and still looks like new. In addition to long lines, Charla has also made slip (transfer) leads through the years. Always custom made to your specifications...and usually made and in the mail the day of receiving order or next day.
Very pleased with the 12 foot line I bought for my Golden for nosework class. It is light weight and is perfect for him. Order was delivered very quickly.
My Scottie’s are color coded so I know who is causing problems when I walk the 4 together.
High quality great colors! I have one for each of my dogs: red, green, blue and orange I not only use for training and nose work but they can wander 40 feet and I have control and not the safety concerns of a retractable leash. Fast order/receive time. Highly recommend
Even the smallest clip is much too heavy for a 12 pound dog. The 3/8 lead itself is fine. Colors wonderful.
Hi Barbara--Thank you for your feedback. We carry so many clasp sizes, and it's unfortunate that our smallest is too heavy for your dog. We do accept returns and exchanges if your leash is unused. Alternatively, if you have a clasp you like, perhaps on an old leash you no longer use or a newly-purchased clasp you have found online, we can attach it to your new leash if you send them both to us. We are always happy to attach customer-supplied clasps to our leashes so long as they are the appropriate size for the leashes purchased. We also provide a discount for them!

My little dude likes to waddle off by himself and since he’s brown, he matches the landscape. The 10 foot blue line gives me an idea of where he’s gone so I can find him.
I really do like these lines. They are well made, easy to manage, and slip right off my puppy’s back so he doesn’t get tangled up. It’s great to give him a little bit more freedom to explore with a 12’ line.
