We are a dog walking company in northern California that has used Palomine lines for years. We absolutely LOVE them. Great quality and highly useful!
I have a dog walking business in northern California and we absolutely love our Palomine Lines! We take small groups of dogs on trail hikes, and we use 8 foot lines with no handles. They double as a leash and a drag line. We have purchased Palomine Lines for years and would highly recommend them. They are the best!
I've been using these lines for years, and my dog's dragline held up to daily saltwater exposure for about 4years before finally needing replacement (for comparison, we went through about 3 collars and one harness in the same time)
I am a dog trainer and encourage all of my clients to order these either as a way to let their dogs enjoy more freedom, or as a way to enjoy semi-off leash privileges without worrying about getting tangled or hooked on something. Love the colors and different sizes.
I love the Biothune leashes, I have 4. 2 4 ft, 1 6 ft
(1/2 in) and one 19 ft 5/8 in.
I got the 20’ and it’s heavier than expected and just okay. DO NOT get black (even if there’s an error with the order), it’ll be too hard to see.
Thank you for your review. Being in PR yourself, you know how much it means to a company to get reviews. When you called us to tell us you meant to order teal instead of black, we offered an exchange; however, you were unable to do so because you needed your long line the day after you received it. Although I didn't realize the weight was an issue at the time of your call, we want to clarify that the half-inch, 20-ft lines with handles weigh approximately 8 oz., depending on the clasp size ordered. Sometimes our dogs will react differently to a long line when they are more accustomed to leashes. It usually will take an adjustment period for them, but once they realize they have more freedom to explore they will not notice the few ounces added. We are hopeful that will be the case for your dog.
As usual I’m 110% satisfied with my order! I ordered a 10ft and 20ft leash to use for the small breed dogs I train. It’s lightweight and the perfect size for them. Thank you!!!
Leash is light weight even tho clasp is very sturdy.
When leash got dirty in field, i used a wipe to clean it. I love that leash doesnt get tangled in my bag.
I got two 10' leads for nosework. The only downside is that new they have a tendency to curl a bit. Overall though they work well.
I use a 20' long line for my dog's Sniffaries. I like the lightweight yet sturdy biothane as it is easy to handle. I also have the smaller hardware. Again, it keeps the line light. However, even though I have 40 to 50 lbs dogs I am comfortable using smaller hardware because my dogs are trained and not
pullers. This is not the situation for many dogs in which case I would suggest the next size up on the line and clip. The 3/8 set up is perfect for my use.
I have purchased several BioThane lines from Palomine. They are of excellent quality. I’ve never been disappointed. With fast shipping, Palomine is my go-to store when ordering. 🤩
These are my favorite long lines by far. Flexible in hand, lightweight, and they don't tangle easily. I use them both for scentwork and as a drag line for recall work--very easy to clean.
very nice, flexible, seems strong, appreciate the extra marker added. Love the color selection
I needed a lighter long line for scentwork
I ordered The 3/8 biothane 10ft -arrived quickly, just what I wanted good value
Bought this to use in beginning scent work class - just what I needed. Big strong dog, leash is solid.
This leash was recommended by my dog trainer because my puppy likes to swim. The leash worked well in water, didn’t tangle on our walk and will be our new go-to when we know we will be taking g our dog hiking near water.
