The Goldilocks choice of Biothane lines. Tried several from Etsy and Amazon and none matched the quality of Palomine Lines. Perfect weight, perfect form (not too stiff, not too bendy) and so many great color choices and other ways to personalize each leash. Plus, super fast shipping and, after placing MANY orders (to help my nose work students), EVERY order has been correct.

These are comfortable in your hand, easy to clean

Kristin, we are happy you find our BioThane leashes comfortable in hand and easy to clean. We have considered making collars; however, it would require keeping a different type of BioThane (thinner to accomodate collar hardware) in inventory. We have noticed many companies making collars also use the thinner collar material to make their leashes. After some testing of the thinner material, we have decided to continue making our BioThane leashes and BioThane long lines with the more hand-comfortable material we have been using since 2008.
Never disappoints ! No need to even break them in! solid in construction and hardware!

I’ve ordered several of their leashes over the years, and the quality is excellent. They are all still in use after nearly 9 years, but I wanted a different one for scent work. At first, I was confused when I received this latest leash because I didn’t see the brass clamps, but Palomine assured me that the brass is under the shrink tubing. They updated the leash based on customer feedback. Ironically, I have never had any of their leashes snag. I love the leashes because of how they feel and they’re easy to clean.
Karin, be assured our solid brass clamps are still securing your rope leash. We have been placing shrink tubing over our brass clamps for several months now, but have not changed our product photos. In the past, we had some customers provide feedback that the clamped end caused the leashes to snag more easily. We added shrink tubing over the clamps and ends to remedy the problem. The shrink tubing can be removed with a pair of scissors, but take extreme care not to cut into the rope material. Once you have used your new rope leash for awhile and discover it to be as durable as our others, we hope you will take the time to update your review.

This lead works perfectly. I'm using it with one dog for obedience training and with another for scent work. The 15 ft length is lightweight and easy to handle.

appreciate the strength, color options and its lightweight. The different weight od the buckle is fantastic. bi have tried others where the leash is great but the buckle is too heavy and my 22 lb. dog can't lift her head.

This leash made walking my 1 year old Pointer mix so lovely for the 1 week it lasted until she chewed it in half.
Can't afford to replace it.
Oh, Carla, we're sorry to hear about the chewing; it's a problem for most leashes when it happens. Please give us a call so we can talk about what can be done. Perhaps we will be able to repair it for you if you still have enough length to make a proper leash. We might even be able to make a shorter leash and a traffic handle for you! Our repairs are always free, but the leash will have to be returned to us. The least expensive way to return it is via US Postal Service Ground Advantage. Before returning it to us, please wash your leash with mild soap, rinse it, and dry it thoroughly. We are unable to accept leashes that haven't been cleaned. Include a note with your contact info and instructions on what you want done. We'll take care of the rest!
