The tab of biothane past the rivets where the handle is always just a little too long and grabs grass when I let the leash drag on the ground. I have to trim it so it doesn't do this. If I don't trim the excess, the rivet of the handle will get forced open and I will end up replacing the rivets sooner than I like.

Thank you for your feedback, Emily! We will look into this issue. In the meantime, if you need a rivet replaced, please return your leash to us and we will apply a new one to your line. Please continue to inspect your leash on a regular basis; any tab remaining past the rivet will collect debris while being dragged, and if you cut the tab too short the rivet could tear through the BioThane.
